Sweet Spot Compost Tea Bags

Sweet Spot Compost Contains Mature Manure

IMG_0081Our barnyard manure has been aged for more than five years then sifted three or more times before it gets packed into an all natural muslin bags. At this point it’s almost ready to fertilize your garden (see instructions below). Our goats and horses happily contributed to this manure pile (directly from our beloved Poop Mountain) so we can attest to it’s authenticity, validity, and age. No, it doesn’t stink.

Directions for Use

The first thing you need to do is soak one tea bag in one gallon of water overnight. Then you may either discard the used tea bag or mix it in with your garden soil; I recommend mixing it in with your garden soil. Muslin is a natural fiber that will decompose and return to the earth.

At this point, the manure tea is still too strong for your garden so please dilute it to a 4 to 1 ratio. For example, to this one gallon of manure tea, add four gallons of water. Mix thoroughly. Once diluted, this mixture is ready for your garden watering.

For best results sprinkle generously into the soil surrounding your food crops. While it is NOT recommended to apply directly to food crops, landscape plants welcome the tea’s gentle richness.
